Based on input from the community, the facility was designed to house a multi-purpose space with a stage, scene shop, green room, and dressing room. This large multi-purpose room can also accommodate banquet style seating for up to 400 people. Other features include spaces for dance rehearsal, arts and crafts, ceramics, and a computer room.
Client: Fr. Francis Benedict
A vision for a multi-faith retreat center, gently embedded within the hilly desert terrain. Designed for quiet solitude, it welcomes eight guests, attended by service staff and accompanied by Benedictine monks.
The Nutrition Center and Chapel form the heart of the retreat—a place where body and spirit are fed. Beyond this quiet hub, along solitary passages, lie the hermitages, spaces crafted to inspire deep contemplation.
